Day One

Well, I'm here. And what a day it has been! I got off the plane in Copenhagen to a luggage fiasco that resulted in my exiting the airport, through customs mind you, to retrieve my baggage, and then catching a bus to the correct terminal for re-entry. After that it was a quick and easy ride to Aalborg. Once I landed it was straight to student registration, then to my apartment where I met a few wonderful neighbors. One of whom gave me a bike!! :-) Chyea! And the other of whom gave me a ride to the college for my orientation. Everyone is wicked friendly and helpful around here.

Orientation was long but informative, and I can't wait to go explore the city with some of my new friends tomorrow. Also, my schedule is A M A Z I N G. Classes only on Tues, Wed, Thurs. That means a 4 day weekend every week! Think of all the traveling to be done. We've already got plans in the works to hit up Dublin on St. Patty's day. :-D Rockin' right? I'm stoked. Plus I've heard nothing but wonderful things about Sweden. Did anyone know you can pitch a tent anywhere you like over there?? Me either until today.

Other random fun facts:
Outgoing mail must be taken to the Post Office.
Denmark has a 711 convenience store.
The weather is exactly the same here as in Morgantown.
I have a telephone. :-)

Okay thats all for now. I haven't really slept but three hours since 5:30 pm your time yesterday. I'm exhausted. So I'm off to bed and maybe if I get these batteries charged I'll take some pics of the apartment tomorrow.

-All the Best!!

Ah 4 day weekends?! sweeeeet. Dublin should be cool although I'm told that they make a bigger of St. Patty's day over here than there (according to my dad...)

I can't wait to visit you and we should tromp all over Sweden!

And send me that phone # :)
