Oh London how I love thee! Your sites and smells are plentiful, your English is polite and endearing, and your food is a testament to all the world's offerings! I love your underground transport; and I will fondly remember the polite English voice telling me to 'Mind the Gap' and 'Mind the Doors.' I will look back on my pilgrimages to the Globe Theater in honour of Shakespeare, to Canterbury in hounour of Chaucer, to Abbey Road in honour of the Beatles, to Buckingham Palace in honour of the Queen, to Westminster Abbey in honour of Easter tradition, and to the hotdog vendor in honour of my undying love for hotdogs and think lovingly of 'the time I was in England with my best friend.'
London, I loved experiencing your traditional English breakfast. I loved whiling away time in your Sherlock Holmes pub, taking my afternoon tea with milk. And meeting Brother Coltrain that night at the Hootananny, in the midst of that Fine Fine Latin music was to know the joy of a lifetime in a single night. Your Strongbow Ale moves me more than words can express.
Oh London, I love you. And I'm sad to be leaving you at such short notice, but tomorrow I must go. So farwell...until next time.
Kind Regards and Love,
Kylie
